Spirits of Speed luxury cars experts based in Barcelona has signed the exclusive dealership agreement with the supercars Swedish Brand Koenigsegg for Spain, France and Portugal, and sold his first two cars in Spain after the Covid-19.

Koenigsegg was founded in 1994 in Sweden by Christian von Koenigsegg, with the intention of producing a world-class supercar. Spirits of Speed based in Barcelona has signed the exclusive dealership agreement with Koenigsegg for Spain, France and Portugal for sales and after-sales services. Spirits Of Speed is the only official dealer permitted to distribute all the prestigious models of the Brand on that area.

The Koenigsegg CCXR was chosen by Forbes as one of the most beautiful cars in history. In December 2010, the Koenigsegg Agera won the BBC Top Gear Hypercar of the Year award. Its latest model Gemera is a plug-in hybrid, with over 1700 hp, four engines and four seats, capable of reaching 0-100 km/h in 1.9 seconds. The vehicle’s performance makes it one of the leaders in its segment. “Ultimate performance has belonged to the world of two-seaters with very limited luggage space – until now”, says CEO and founder Christian von Koenigsegg. “The Gemera is a completely new category of car where extreme megacar meets spacious interior and ultimate environmental consciousness. We call it a Mega-GT.”

In addition to developing, manufacturing, and selling the Koenigsegg line of supercars, Koenigsegg also participates in “green technology” development programs of the next-generation alternative engine technologies. Koenigsegg develops and produces most of the major systems and components needed for its cars in-house, without outsourcing any part of its production chain.
